We live in uncertain times, full of uncertainty. We hear all kinds of opinions, we issue various theories about how we should act to avoid the whole state of our country or how all political actors should act on the given situation. We give our opinion, but we do not realize that in fact history repeats itself, perhaps not from all points of view, but the panic felt by the population denotes this.
For these reasons, I remembered a book called “The War That Saved My Life” written by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley … from my point of view, this book is a gem, a lesson in life or maybe it could represent a slap on the face received because life is not valued at its true value.
This book had a huge impact on me because I learned to look at the world with other eyes.

I won’t go into much detail, but I would like to not hesitate if you have the opportunity to read it.
The action takes place during the Second World War, and in the foreground of the book is Ada, a child who was born with a foot defect, but despite this defect she remains brave and confronts her mother who does not hesitate to mock her at every moment of her existence due to the fact that she is “flawed”. It is impressive how Ada remains a child with a pure soul, but physically ill, but her mother is physically healthy, but flawed inside.
However, the girl with her brother go through terrible times, but they manage to overcome both the horrors of the war and the improper punishments of his mother.

This book is a mirror in which Ada’s courage and strength are reflected; two attributes that I feel I achieved these days. It is important to perceive that the world does not exist to know it, but to educate ourselves in it; the more we work on our soul, the more we will pick sweeter fruits.
It is a good time for thinking, forgiveness … maybe we will manage to change a bit and look at the horizon with more optimism and confidence.
Take care of yourself!
Foarte adevărat!!!
